What Is The Purpose Of Paying Deposit

I have made a booking with FOREVER Tour Agency (located @ Nibong Tebal) for a six-days trip to Hong Kong two months ago. Deposit of RM1500 has been paid for three person to confirm the booking.

We were very excited when the date is soon approaching.
However, the condition of my bro-in-law as well as the new Swine flu virus which has swept the globe in recent months stopped us from participating the trip.

So, mom has contacted FOREVER as we would like to drop the package of three. Guess what we have been told...
We've got to pay RM1000 EACH as the compensation for not joining the trip. Reason is, tickets have been issued and customers have the responsibility to bear the ticket fees. The worst part is, even if you would like to postpone or change the trip to other location, still, you must pay the RM1000 as the ticket has been issued to the location that we first booked.

AND, my mum, who is a very kind-hearted lady has paid them RM3000 after their so-called "explanation".

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PAYING DEPOSIT AT THE FIRST PLACE THEN???!!?!?!?

From my understanding, that should be fees to the company where the customer didn't show up at the very last minute.

Life Is Unpredictable

I'm so sorry to hear that the wife of a friend has suffered massive heart attack and she is currently hospitalized in a coma...

Life is so unpredictable.

If you are living happily today it doesn't means that the happiness will last till tomorrow, later or even the next sec/min. You will never know what is going to happen next.

You just got to be prepared all the time. Try doing things with the thought of not letting yourself to regret the days.
However, its easy to say but hard to do.... Sigh.

Come on guys, let's pray hard for the wife!!

I'm addicted to COKE lately.

Okay Okay, i know that the sugar level is high, not good for health or what so ever... But... i just can't stop thinking about it whenever i was ordering drinks to go with food these days.

I can take a few cans a day :P

I used to hate all types of soft drink because of the Gas that will make you burp in front of all your friends but i just can't help myself...

My Beloved Brother

What can i do to help my brother in law. It's so sad and heartache to hear the result. He is diagnosed with Leukemia...

Well, this has been happening since a year ago...

He is suffering with all the treatments but i did realise that the closest person around might feel even worst. They are looking at him going thru all sorts of treatment with the face telling you "why not God let me be the one??!!" What a depressing scene.

My sister is tough. She keeps all the tears and stands strong to face everything. She never drops a tears in front of the family. She takes care of the family, herself (she was pregnant when the hubby first diagnosed), the hubby parents, now the baby (baby is born), all big and small family matters, works, and the most importantly - the hubby.

My bro, i believe he is trying hard for being cooperative with the doctor. And i did believe its not something easy for every human being. Despite of all the pain, torture... i jus hope that he can be tough enough to go thru all these.

What can i do for them?? Except paying visits, text them the motivating message, be driver etc...wat else?!?

I Just hope that my bro to recover soon.
When will this day come..........I hope it's soon, let's pray for them!
